RSC 16: February is the Month of Brown!

February’s color is brown, and normally, I wouldn’t have had anything to work on, but it just so happens that I have two things that qualify, and I already happened to be working on one of them!

My Celtic Solstice (Bonnie Hunter), that really is more of an Celtic Equinox, has brown in the four patches, so since I’m really pushing to get this quilt finished before spring and now is as good a time as any to keep pushing on with this beauty.

This quilt is a two block quilt, and I have finally finished all 24 of these guys.  I’m still working on the second block.  I did put one together to see what they would look like finished.

I have finished quite a few of these over the course of the day, hopefully tomorrow will see my blocks finished, and the quilt top mostly pieced.

The other UFO I’ve got that is brown is my Teddy Bear Quilt that I started when my 14 year old was a baby.  It is going to stay a UFO for a while longer since February is slipping slowly by me.
